Bio:
Jillian Goldberg is the current Chief Revenue and Investment Officer as well as a member of the board of directors at GuardKnox Cyber Technologies, a world-leading Autotech company. Originally from Cincinnati Ohio, she completed her undergraduate work at Tulane University before joining Teach for America as an inner-city high physics and chemistry teacher in Dallas, Texas. She obtained her MPH – Emergency and Disaster Management from Tel Aviv University, where she volunteered with IsraAID and Magen David Adom. At TAU she met the CEO and Co-Founder of GuardKnox, and in turn, changed career paths (and added a citizenship!). In the little free time she has, she completed the Nevo Network Fellowship for Olim (new immigrants) in Tech where she is now both an alum and a member of the board of directors, she is a mentor in the flagship program through Women in Mobility, an Expert at Quantum Hub Accelerator, Competitive Powerlifter and Crossfitter as well as a coach (and was even a contestant on Ninja Israel), and Advisor to the Alexander Muss High School in Israel for Entrepreneurship, among others. Since October 7th, 2023, Jillian has spearheaded multiple efforts in response to the horrific terror attack and subsequent war, most notably her work with private strategy for hostage families before officially joining the the Hostage and Missing Families forum liaising between the headquarters in Israel and the Washington DC chapter, where she works with strategy and coordination for all levels of politics, media, and development as well as leading delegations and meetings in the US among other activities
Jillian’s mother, Suzy Marcus grew up at Temple Emanuel where her grandparents Bob (of blessed memory) and Letty Marcus are active members.

This Yom Kippur, our community will hear from Jillian Goldberg, who made aliyah from the U.S. to Israel to work in the vibrant Israeli high-tech sector. Jillian will share a bit about her experience immersing herself into Israeli society and life in Israel pre-October 7 2023. Since October 7, like many Israelis, she has become deeply involved in the humanitarian response to the Israel-Hamas war. She will also discuss her leadership role with the Hostage and Missing Families Forum in Israel and her work as a liaison to its counterpart in Washington, D.C., working directly with the U.S. government. Jillian has been tirelessly advocating for the families of hostages, navigating complex political landscapes, and fighting to bring those held captive back home. Join us to hear about Jillian’s experiences and the important work she’s doing to support those in need during these challenging times.
