Freedom Song
Sunday, November 16
2:00 PM
Sanctuary

Freedom Song is a transformative musical that shatters the myth of Jews being immune to addiction by interweaving the story of Passover and personal stories of addiction. The cast is made up of addicts in recovery from drugs, alcohol, gambling, and other destructive behaviors. Through songs, dance, tears, laughter, and post-show discussion with the cast, Freedom Song will open your eyes to the real-life struggle against the ‘bondage of self’ that we all fight every day.

Special thanks to the Steiner Family Fund of the Grafman Endowment Fund for making this program possible.

Sunday Afternoon Film: “Plunderer”
Sunday, February 8, 2026
2:00 PM

Plunderer is a feature-length documentary that focuses on the career of Bruno Lohse, a Nazi art dealer who served as Göring’s art agent in Paris and headed the ERR, the Nazis’ clearinghouse for confiscated art in France. Captured and interrogated by the Monuments Men after the war, Lohse served a brief prison sentence. Following his release, he profitably dealt in stolen art for sixty years, selling to collectors, galleries, and major museums. The film includes stories of Holocaust survivors working to reclaim their families’ lost artworks and examines the continuity between the post-war era and the contemporary art world and its secretive culture.

Popcorn, candy, and soft drinks will be served.
