It has been wonderful to call you our neighbor, friend and Rabbi.
How special to raise our kids just 4 doors apart. I believe Brett was your very first Bar Mitzvah. We have fond memories & beautiful photos of you at all of our life cycle events. However, the memory that I will personally cherish the most is the presentation you made the night of Golda’s Balcony. It meant the world to me — I think of you every time I look at my “Woman of Valor Tzedakah Box.” Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The most emotional moment during your retirement service was when all local priests, pastors, ministers & other clergy were called forward to bestow a blessing on a man who did an amazing job of community outreach. Jon, you made us proud every day of your 27 years of devoted service to Temple Emanu-El. We wish you well in Washington DC where you will be surrounded by family. Enjoy your precious grandchildren & every item on your bucket list — you certainly deserve it.
With love & appreciation,
Susan & Barry Koretzky and family
