In many ways, we have journeyed down the same path since your arrival in Birmingham. We have spent our adult years raising our children, grieving lost parents, celebrating simchas, traveling and laughing together, weeping together, and now we are simply….older. You have always been there for us.
Does it take a village to raise children? That’s debatable. But, there is no question that it takes an extraordinary rabbi to help raise and now be reflected in the moral character, integrity, charitable nature and love of Judaism that is inherent in our adult children. Your teaching and compassion have become not only an inspiration but also an expectation. We are forever grateful for your stewardship and we are honored to call you our friend.
We love you, and we will miss you so much,
Nancy and David Denney
