Memories are snapshots of the past. One of my first memories of Rabbi Miller involved a playdate pickup of our youngest daughter, Mindy. Upon exiting the car, I met the Rabbi, who dressed in a t-shirt and shorts, informed me that he had been working on his High Holiday Speech. Fast forward to our eldest daughter’s Bat Mitzvah where I witnessed him gently wiping away Julie’s tears as she stood in front of the ark. Forward again to Julie and Court’s wedding ceremony. Then add in countless inquiries about the girls, culminating with the call from Europe inquiring about Lee’s health and asking how to help.
Those memories and countless more, represent the type of person Rabbi Miller was to us– our daughter’s friend’s father, a gentle compassionate soul and a wonderful human being.
Our family wishes the Millers the best that life can offer.
Enjoy Retirement and Enjoy your grandchildren!!
