“It is important to me that our Temple flourish for all of you”
It is the people of this congregation who have brought me to a place where I really want to give back. From our seniors to our young children, you have opened your hearts and embraced me as part of your families. In turn, I love helping each of you grow Jewishly — and it is extremely important to me that this place continue to flourish for all of you.
In addition to the warmth and commitment of our members, I believe that our congregation is strengthened in good part because of our Grafman Endowment Fund. We have been able to do so many great things because of having this strong foundation. It would be very difficult for us to thrive without it. I am also personally impressed how the fund is run so responsibility and with great transparency. I also see how so many our temple members care so deeply about our Endowment.
So, in a way, my reasons for including the temple in my will and participating each year in the Annual Endowment Gift program is to show my gratitude. It is just one way for me to thank you for what this congregation has done in making me feel a part of your temple family. Temple Emanu-El has provided me with the life that I have, which is such a good life. You are my congregation — and one way that I can show that I care is to give back.
