Jonathan & Judi,
As we say goodbye to you and your family, we do so with mixed emotions. Over the past 27 years we have shared numerous life experiences, the ups and the downs, together. We have learned from each other, laughed and cried together, teased one another, enjoyed residing in the same neighborhood, journeyed through Cherokee Bend, MBJH and MBHS together and so much more. You both have been avid advocates for Israel, written countless articles promoting Temple Emanu-El and what it means to be Jewish, speaking out on our behalf when injustices occur ….your leadership will be deeply missed.
Having the opportunity to live closer to family will bring you much joy and happiness, which you so richly deserve. How wonderful that you are able to make this move! Although you will no longer claim home to be “Sweet Home Alabama”, you will always be in our heart. And we look forward to keeping in touch!
Heartfelt gratitude for all you’ve given and meant to our Temple Emanu-El family as well as our entire Birmingham community.
May you and yours be blessed with good health and well being for many years to come.
With love and affection,
Amy & Michael Saag
